Krimidinner - The Birthday of Horror

Schwarzwaldhotel Gengenbach

Episode VIII of the Ashtonburry Chronicle

Since the brilliant victory at Royal Ascot in 1965 over Satan, the racehorse of her late sweetheart Adrian Tilling, Cora Tilling has gained a certain fame through countless headlines and gossip pages in various newspapers throughout the Kingdom. But being a celebrity also has its downsides: For some time now, she has not only been admired, but watched closely. All the more so since she is now – one year after her historic triumph – supposed to come into her grandson's inheritance on her 30th Birthday and thus again faces public interest. Nevertheless, her stepmother Lady Emily Ashtonburry insists on organising a magnificent family party to Coras' discomfort.
And her suspicions seem to be confirmed in a horrific way: All her closest family members are obviously prevented from attending the event by mysterious circumstances and accidents, and there seems to be something wrong with Cora herself. And then there’s even murder.
What is the secret of the still closed will? Will the uncle’s inheritance lay like a curse on Cora and bring her, like other relatives, to one of the feared "closed institutions"? Who else can Cora trust? And can she even trust herself?
Be there live at the brand new part of our Ashtonburry saga at Darkwood Castle, when – despite all hereditary creepers, murderers and relatives – we say again: Welcome to the Ashtonburry manor!
